Dementia Care at Home
Familiar surroundings are themselves a treatment in dementia. Moving a person with memory loss to an unfamiliar facility usually accelerates confusion, which is why home care - done properly - is so often the better option.

Handling Agitation Without Restraint
Our caregivers are trained never to argue with a delusion or correct a false memory - it escalates distress without changing belief. Instead they redirect, reduce noise and clutter, keep lighting bright in the late afternoon, offer food or a familiar activity, and step away rather than confront. Physical restraint and sedation-by-default are not part of our approach; persistent agitation is escalated to the treating physician for review.
Local Coverage & Context
Wandering risk looks very different in a Mumbai chawl or an old Dadar building than in a gated Kharghar or Ghodbunder Road complex, so our home safety review is specific to the building - gate access, staircase risk, neighbour awareness and a laminated ID card in the patient's pocket. Marathi and Hindi-speaking caregivers are especially important here, because people with dementia usually retain their first language longest.
