Power, Oxygen and Backup Planning
A home ventilator programme is only as safe as its backups. We confirm an inverter or UPS that holds the ventilator and concentrator, a filled oxygen cylinder as fallback for concentrator failure, a self-inflating bag at the bedside for manual ventilation, and a spare circuit on site. During Mumbai's monsoon months we insist on this before the patient is discharged home - not after the first outage.
